You can make delicious porridge for breakfast, with pieces of fruit and a spoon of honey, puddings, cakes using millet. It can be added to soups instead of pasta, cook in a wok or frying pan with vegetables, but it can also be prepared in the form of puree. Millet is gluten free and is an alkaline, making it easy to digest.


  • 2 cups millet
  • 2 tbspm olive oil
  • 1/2 cups chopped basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt


First rinse millet with water and then cook for 25 minutes. Drain from water and blend until the mixture is compact. Add basil, olive oil, salt and stir well. You can season millet with your favorite spices, this is a mild spiced version.
